Uniforms

US Naval Sea Cadet Corps Manatee Division

The US Navy has allowed the USNSCC and USNLCC cadets and Uniformed Officers/instructors to wear properly modified official US Navy uniforms. You must wear them with pride and dignity at all times! What you do in uniform and how you wear them directly reflects on the Navy and US Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

These uniforms are on loan to you. You do not own them. When you leave the program, you need to return them.

Below, you will find some information about the wear, care, and tips about the Uniforms.

The Basics - Your primary source of information

No matter what you may see in photos on the Internet or how you've seen other cadets wear their uniform there is only one single authority on how to wear the uniform. Always use this as your primary source - The NSCC/NLCC Uniform Regulations

Here are two great Youtube videos that shows how the Navy expects their NWU Uniform to be worn.

Although you should always go to the Uniform Regulations to see how to wear or properly mark you uniforms, here are a few quick illustrations as a quick-check on your uniform markings.
